A radio-ship, four days, a dozen people, some of whom hadn't broadcast on Radio Caroline since the 1970’s, came together again at Easter for a unique experience. To live and broadcast as they had 30 years ago when as younger men they all served on our radio-ship Mi Amigo.

You can join them behind the scenes on our present day radio-ship Ross Revenge in this wonderful documentary DVD telling how the broadcast was set up and executed.

PAL 16:9 widescreen Running time 30 minutes
Also contains slideshow and spoof trailer!

The Legend Lives On!

In 2004 Radio Caroline celebrated 40 years since we broke the BBC's radio monopoly in the UK when we began broadcasting at Easter 1964. Click here to read a history of the station. Radio Caroline continues because we believe there is still a need for a music station where DJs have freedom in selecting the music played instead of the scientific focus groups used by most stations today. Click here to read more about our 40th anniversary year. Don't forget to ring our bell!
  • Over 40 years ago a young Irish entrepreneur Ronan O'Rahilly founded Britain's first offshore radio station. Radio Caroline instantly became a household name. Caroline's continued existence became a lifetime mission for Ronan.

  • Peter Moore became Radio Caroline's station manager in the 1980s during her final phase of broadcasting from the high seas. Peter fervently believes in Caroline's continued relevancy in an age of corporate consolidation and robot DJs.
